Nehemiah's Heart

Tom Johnston begins our series on the book of Nehemiah by giving us some historical background to help us understand that there are two aspects of Restoration in Nehemiah:
1.restoration of the wall (physical security)
2.restoration of covenant keeping (spiritual security)

Nehemiah risked EVERYTHING – his very life – because of the love in his heart; his loving devotion to God lead to actions of loving devotion to others. We are called by God to take action in the lives of the people around us too!
